Guarantee and Aftercare

Your OMOLOGATO® watch has complex and ultra reliable Japanese or Swiss movements tried and tested by some of the Worlds largest brands.  Therefore we are confident to give it a warranty period of 24 months from the date of purchase (or delivery on pre-orders).

The Warranty covers :

  •   Material and manufacturing defects
  •   Movement defects

Any problems and we will work with you swiftly to resolve them.

Please note : Our warranty cannot be transferred to another owner. A claim must be brought by the original purchaser. In particular any watches that are re-sold on auction sites are not covered.

We also run a "No Lemon policy", if we have to repair anything more than once, we'll replace it with a new piece - subject to availability.

This manufacturer’s warranty DOES NOT cover:

  • the life of the battery
  • normal wear and tear and ageing (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the colour and/or material of non-metallic straps and chains, such as leather, plastic, textile,)
  • any damage on any part of the watch resulting from abnormal/ abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.), incorrect use of the watch.
  • straps or bracelets under any circumstances. This is important - like tyres or a windscreen on a car straps ARE NOT COVERED under any warranty.
  • any signs of non-professional maintenance of your watch, such as missing seals etc will void your warranty regardless of the length of time you have owned the watch. In a nutshell, a professional recognised watch service centre MUST work on your watch or we will not cover it under our warranty under any circumstances.

Aftercare

If you've bought a Quartz Omologato then the battery inside will last around 24 to 36 months depending on a number of factors including how many times you use the chronograph feature if there is one. Any good quality watch repairer can replace a battery for you or if you wish you can send it back to us and we'll do it for you.

Note if your watch isn't maintained by a registered watch service centre, for instance if someone unqualified works on the movements, then this voids any guarantee with us. Regardless of the length of time of ownership.
